3DBODY.TECH 2024 - The 15th International Conference and Exhibition on 3D Body Scanning and Processing Technologies will take place on 22-23 October 2024, in Lugano, Switzerland.

3DBODY.TECH 2024 will be held as hybrid event with conference and exhibition taking place onsite in Lugano, with all contents streamed live online and recorded for later view. Attendees will be able to participate in-person onsite or remotely online, whereas speakers will be required to participate in-person onsite (online virtual presentations will be possible in exceptional cases).

Authors wishing to present their works at the conference are invited to submit their extended abstract(s) until 30 April 2024. Authors of accepted abstracts will present their work personally onsite at the conference. Online virtual presentations will be possible only in exceptional cases. For exhibitors, 4 different levels are available: GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE, VIRTUAL. The different levels and benefits are described in 3dbody2023_exhib.pdf. Note: 20% discount is offered on the basic fees by registering before 1 May 2024. More details are available at: Exhibition.

The Industry Connections 3D Body Processing group brings together an ecosystem of players to co-develop an assessment of standards needs and to propose new standard(s) around enabling 3D body processing which includes the capture, processing, storage, sharing and (augmented) representation for "Of-the-body" and "On-the-body" technologies. October 19, 2023 - 3DBODY.TECH 2023 successfully closed

3DBODY.TECH 2023 - The 14th International Conference and Exhibition on 3D Body Scanning and Processing Technologies was successfully closed in Lugano on the evening of 18th October 2023.

3DBODY.TECH 2023 - Lugano

About 190 participants from over 30 different countries attended the two days conference and exhibition. Over 85% of them attended onsite in Lugano.

The program of the conference was structured, during two full days, in 1 opening session, 14 technical sessions in dual track, a panel discussion and 10 live demonstrations sessions, accommodating in total over 80 technical and scientific presentations, grouped according to various topics and application areas.

The conference confirmed also this year to be the most important international event focused on 3D body scanning & processing technologies.

Opening/Closing presentation:

An edited version with new images of the joined opening and closing presentations of the conference director Dr. Nicola D'Apuzzo is available to download: PDF file.

Proceedings:

The proceedings of the conference are available in digital form via FTP download / file sharing system.
The proceedings, organized as a website, provide details of the technical sessions, and give access to all abstracts, to all published papers (as single PDF documents), to all recorded presentation videos and to all recorded sessions (opening session, technical sessions, exhibitors' live demonstrations, panel discussion).
